1. Replace the Wiper Blades on Your Windshield Wipers

This is the primary service on your basic car maintenance checklist that lube shops frequently provide. At home, it should only take you around 15 minutes to finish. Wiper blades typically range in price from $10 to $20 at your local car parts store in Durham.

Wiper blade replacement intervals aren’t as constant as other auto parts, but if your blades are smearing or scraping when you use them, or if they appear substantially worn, it’s time to replace them.
